Season of Lent



Not only is it the season of Lent, at the Barrow household it is the Season of Hot Cross Buns. I so craved one of these last weekend when I was sick. So, yesterday I went to town and baked a batch. Pretty yummy. And I am sure there will be lots more between now and Easter.

    I have heard of the Pioneer woman, not sure of what exactly she does, just heard of her.

    Oh, yum!! It is almost worth having knee surgery again to get some of these. Well, maybe I wouldn't go that far. But they are so good, I sure would think about it.

    My recipe disappeared when I made these the other day and has not resurfaced. Hope I can make another batch from what I can remember. Strange!!!!!
