and we are enjoying highs in the 50's. All our snow has melted due to those Chinook winds.
I had kind of a quiet day, which I needed. Been going full tilt for a few days and it just caught up with me. Just can't accomplish what I used to in a day!!! That makes me sad.
I had a dentist appt. this morning and they called to see if I could come an hour earlier, as the next appt. had had some car problems and couldn't make it for their appointed time. So, whoosh, out the door I went.
Just before I went, Curtis saw a mouse scamper across the kitchen floor. Why is it always him? I have spent so much time in the kitchen the last few days. So, while I was at the dentist office he was off getting a mouse trap. Been a couple of years since we have had a furry visitor.
I got the wash done. I wrapped a few gifts. Got my sisters box of Christmas goodies all ready to send in the mail.
Tomorrow is Harlee's Christmas program at school. Nic's is next week.
I made a couple of cards for the challenge on the Impression Obsession Blog. A holiday card that is clean and simple. Here is what I came up with using the deer trio die 080-N.
This first card I cut out the scalloped edge circle and embossed it. I used the negative cut of the deer and put some sparkly red behind it and then a couple of red bling. Pretty clean and simple.
This card I also used the negative and filled it in with some shiny gold!
Both of your cards are very lovely.
ReplyDeleteI really like the white with red card, so pretty.
It is always nice to have a slow day….I know, those are my every days, teehee.

Nice cards. We are enjoying moderate temps here but not into the 50's, and we are really lacking the sunshine.
