Happy Halloween & the littlest Dragon

After pumpkin carving the other evening. Kirsten and I took Harlee and Nicholas uptown to trick or treat. Harlee was a cute little dragon. She was more interested in eating all the candy she was getting. It is the warmest Halloween I have ever experienced in Great Falls, MT. The weather bug is saying 66F at 4:30 in the afternoon. We are having Harlee and Nichoas overnight at our house, so Kirsten and Tim can throw a party for their friends.

Middle of the Week

Working the last couple of days knocked the stuffing out of me. Glad to be off today. I actually slept in until 8:45. That is practically unheard of where I am concerned. Got home late last evening and Kirsten and Harlee were carving a pumpkin for Curtis and I.
Kirsten loves Halloween and getting in the spirit of things. I think Harlee was having fun too.

Enjoying

my extra weekend time, since I am now working every 3rd weekend, instead of every other. It is especially nice if Curtis has been gone most of the week, like the last few. Don't make shopping a priority, since the stores are extra crowded on the weekend, but enjoy creating at home. Here are the layouts I have finished the last couple of days. I should be working on some cards but layouts are calling me right now. Also photos of Harlee in the leaves at our house yesterday.

Friday Musings

It's a cloudy, windy day here in Great Falls, so I am just as happy to be in the house now. Curtis and I went out to get groceries and a movie to watch later on. But here are a couple new layouts I just finished. Enjoy!

Weird Kind of Day

It was my turn at work to either float or stay at home as we are not busy enough in the nicu for 5 nurses. I called the unit at 4:50 am and they said I was at home on call. So, I rolled over and went back to sleep until 7am, which is sleeping in for me. Work called around 9am and said I needed to come in around 1130 for a couple of hours to cover for a coworker that needed to attend the mandatory education. OK, I went in, but then we ended up admitting a couple of babies that kept me there the rest of the day.
But between last evening and earlier this morning I did manage to finish another Harlee layout.

The Start of a New Week

It is supposed to be fairly warm this week--at least for October. Maybe we can take Harlee and Nicholas to the pumpkin patch and get some photos. We shall see. Had Harlee yesterday for a while so her mum could get her house picked up. Got a couple of layouts of old photos of Harlee completed. Back to work tomorrow. Curtis heads to Kalispell again today--at least he gets to visit his dad.

Road Trip

Curtis and I took a road trip to Helena yesterday. Had a late breakfast at IHOP, with a yummy black cherry crepe. Hit Costco, the scrap shop, Ben Franklins and Sportsmans Warehouse. And headed home and took a few nice photos.

The Jumperoo

I have been working the last couple of days, so not much new. But the other evening Kirsten got out the jumperoo to take home for Nicholas. Harlee was quite intrigued by this new object as much as Nichoas.

Canadian Thanksgiving

and it will be celebrated at the Barrow household. We have a lot to be thankful for.

The pumpkin pie is baked, the stuffing is made and the cranberry sauce just came out of the pot. We are getting ready. Next to stuff the bird.

The snow we had is quickly melting with the chinook winds blowing and the temperatures on the rise. The leaves on some trees are still green and haven't even lost their leaves.

It was Nicholas's 3 month celebration on Friday, so a couple of shots of them too.
