Harlee's Fun Adventure.

We took Harlee to the Children's Museum this morning.
They had free admission and I thought it might be fun for her.
And I think it was. She tried out everything. She never stopped running
I think she liked the big slide, the hulahoops and the stationary bike.

Cold, Clear Winter Morning.

It is cold---BRrrrr, clear---those blue,blue skies, without a cloud.
I have been out shooting photos in the backyard because the shadows are cool on the back fence. No eagles in the backyard like Robyn has though.
Also have our hotel booked for Seattle to visit Cait for her Spring Break. She decided to stay in Tacoma, even though most of her friends are leaving for the week.

Old Man Winter

won't give it up. The snow is coming down like crazy. And it is cold outside--the weather bug is saying 9F. I guess it is still Feb. for a couple more days. Got a notice some part on our dishwasher has problems and needs to be replaced and not to use it. In the meantime the letter has been in Curtis' basket of mail for the last few weeks and I have used the dishwasher. Interesting!

Suppose I should Update

my blog. Have been working the past couple of days---long days and busy, busy. Not too many babies, so less nurses working. Talked with Cailtin for a long time on the phone. Old man winter has returned with the cold, which I don't like. Haven't been able to keep warm all day. And certainly didn't go for a walk this morning, with the temps below 20F. BRRrrrrr......

Curtis arrived home

safe and sound and so did his luggage. Which is a miracle with all the flying he did yesterday. Harlee was a little apprehensive of him at first, but warmed up quickly.

BooHoo, No Curtis Today

Had a call from Curtis around 3:30pm and he was in Chicago. What the heck. There was no Chicago mentioned on the itinerary he left with me. I guess he had issues getting to the airport in Venice and went downhill from there. But he is supposed to get as far as Denver tonight and into Great Falls tomorrow afternoon.

In the meantime I have been scrapping this afternoon. Long day for me too!

Unexpected Snow

Woke up to about 3 in. of new snow. Didn't know that was predicted.
But it was pretty. Made the roads slippery. And now it is melting away.
Took a couple of photos. Ran down to the river--lots of geese and ducks down there.
Was canceled from work today. Not enough babies for all us nurses to take care of.

Harlee's Birthday layout

Finished up a 2 page layout of Harlee's birthday party--at least the cake part.

Come On Spring!!!

I have had enough of winter and anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring. My step dad could actually tell you how many days until the day. So, I have to bring a little spring, a little colour into my life.
Loving the new hot pink iron.
Today was major clean up at home--the bathrooms, the floors, the laundry.
It's a good feeling to have it all done now.

????Terrible Twos

How can someone so innocent and sweet looking turn into a negative, stubborn monster on a turn of a dime. Enjoy the perfect moments.
Nana and Harlee are spending the day together, while the rest of her family have gone to Billings for Tim's work. Spending 6 hours in the car isn't Harlee's idea of fun.
Having a day with Nana is more up her alley.
She loves her dancing skirt that Auntie Cait made her. Dance, dance, dance.

Friday the 13th

Just updating my blog.
A few more layout.
Dang cold when I was out walking early this morning and snowy too.
On call for work today, just hanging out at home.

More Creativity

Finished this up a little bit ago--at least since Curtis has been gone. Have been down sewing a little too. Just thought I should share it. My iron decided to give it up today--so will have to look for a new one.
My step dad, Bill was admitted to the hospital today with a bowel blockage--very painful. So, could you say a little prayer for him and my mum.

Waiting for the kettle to boil so I can have a cup of tea.
Had Harlee for a little bit today.
I guess she was found in the crib with her brother this morning, with a book.
I am thinking she was reading him a story.
