A Curtis Update

Had a phone call from Curtis this morning around 9:30am--he is 8 hours ahead of us so it was almost 5:30pm. He sounded tired. But he is safe and sound in Italy. No problems with his flights(4 of them) and his luggage arrived with him. The rental car was there. Had a little problem finding the base. Stopped at a bakery where they spoke no English, but managed to figure things out. He said he is going back for baked goods. I am happy he is there and all is going OK. He said he hopefully will have internet connection tomorrow.

We were up bright and early to take Curtis to the airport for 6am as he starts off on his adventure to Italy for 6 weeks. No, this is not a vacation but work.
Then Cait and I were off to the oral surgeons to get her wisdom teeth out and back by 8:30am.

2 New Layout

Have actually had a little time to create. Worked New Year's the 3rd and 4th. Enjoying days off and spending a little time with the grandkids. Harlee came over yesterday and couldn't figure out where the Christmas tree had gone.

Another Snowy Day-Brrrrr.....

It has snowed almost all day and I caught Cait out shoveling our walk. Should have taken some photos when the living room was a disaster zone putting away Christmas decorations. But the big job is done now for another year.

Ok, so I am getting hassled at home for not updating my blog over the last few days. Nothing exciting happening--just enjoying family and the holiday week. Headed back to work for New Year's Day. Interesting New Year's Eve with the grandkids at our house and Caitlin babysitting. Here's a few cards I have been working on the last few days to replenish my supply and help out the Sletten Cancer Centre.
