They love Digging in the Dirt

Hunting for bugs and worms. Nic hates spiders. But he doesn't mind the worms. This was yesterday when Curtis and I watched the kids. Don't mind the weeds in the raised beds, they haven't been weeded yet. My helper is in Tacoma.

And I spent the day in my craft room scrapping away, since I missed scrapping on National Scrapbook Day!

Nice out today, but still kind of cool and that old wind was blowing making it feel cooler.

Had an early dinner and Curtis and I are watching The Green Hornet.

It's National Scrapbook Day

And am I scrapping????? Alas, no, we are in charge of the grandkids. Also , it is Cinqo de Mayo. Kirsten and Tim are uptown at Cruisin the Drag.
I picked up Harlee and Nic around 8:30 this morning. Brought them home and Curtis made us all yummy pancakes. Nic has been tired all day and finally just crashed. I think they have had a fun day. They have played outside, rode Nic's car and dug in the dirt- pictures in the near future.
So no scrapping until after they leave. But, I did create a layout yesterday and finished it up early this morning. I saw a layout on Pinterest and had to duplicate it.

Friday Tidbits

Not too much exciting from today. Was on call for work, but managed to stay at home.
Did a little scrapping. And actually really picked up my scrap space and can see the bottom of the desk.
Curtis and I picked up Harlee from the preschool bus. Grandpa answered her request for a milk shake and took her to DQ for a blizzard. And she ate it all up. He took her to the park across the street to play..Then we took her home and borrowed Kirsten's mower, since ours is back in the shop. I mowed the grass-boy was it shaggy. Because I was mowing Curtis got to make dinner- not too hard as there was leftovers.
A couple more layouts to share.

Middle of the Week

Pretty slow and boring day at the Barrow household.
But I have been making some graduation cards, since I may need a few next weekend when we head to Seattle.
All Cait's friends are graduating too.
Just sent Harlee home with her mother. She is not problem to have around.
So, today you get a couple more layouts I created- they are both of dying Easter eggs with the grandkids.

May Day

Here it is the start of another month! Hard to believe 1/3 of the year is gone.
Pretty routine day at home. Laundry is done. Floors are mopped. The on going paper pile picked up and sorted through. And I picked Harlee up from the preschool bus.
Just got in from watching the grandkids while Kirsten was at derby practice.
A few last photos from Benton Lake.
