North Pole Adventure

Yesterday we went here

To ride on this

With these little folks

We watched the moon come up

She coloured and wrote a letter to Santa

He made faces with his reflection in the window

We arrived at the North Pole

And this man appeared

Harlee was a little shy

But Nic was right there checking him out!

The train ride survived Nic and he slept all the way home.
Started amking Christmas cookies today.

Building a Railroad

Nic visited today and was into trouble as usual. He wanted to open the wrapped gifts under the tree. Then he saw the Snowtown on the piano. And oh, my gosh, there is a train up there and a depot with a railroad sign. It is a magnet to Nic. Also a fire truck with a dalmation dog. He fell off the piano bench once, playing with them. So to refocus his attention, we got him building a railroad on the floor. He was very happy to do this. Tomorrow we will be taking him and Harlee to ride on the Christmas train.

Just a Few Santas to Share

These are a few of the jolly old fellow that grace my home at Christmas.
Cold day out, after a skiff of snow last night.
Got the majority of my Christmas cards out today-one thing of the check list.
Spent a little time with Kirsten.
Waiting for my hubby to get home from the Flathead Valley.

Picture of the Week-#48

Today I am going to introduce you to the Santas in my life. I have been collecting Santas for quite a few years now. I started with a couple and it has just grown in leaps and bounds. I have a cabinet that is full and then there are some that just come out for Christmas.
these are the Santas that sit on my kitchen table during the holiday season.
There will be more in the days to come.

Today I ran to Walmart early, to buy a few things.
Kirsten came over between classes and had lunch here.
I got my sisters Christmas box to the post office and sent out.

The Official Count is On

Tomorrow is my last official shift working as a regular part time person in the NICU. The time has come to hang up my hat, and go to working Registry. I am sure people will want me to work a day here or there. But no more floating to areas I don't feel comfortable or safe working in. The hospital is so into safety, but is it safe for a NICU nurse to be taking care of an OB patient.??? I won't have to worry any more.
I want to do things I want to do, instead of things I don't want to do!!!!!!
Hopefully, we will survive financially without my regular added income.
We will have to learn to do with less and for me to be happy.
