I have been saying my hallway needs to be painted. It is looking tired and has been forever since it was painted.
And today was the day! I decided I would tackle it.
I washed the walls all down this morning. I got my paint supplies out. I had paint I wanted to use from when I did my kitchen last spring. But I had to run to the hardware store for some painters tape and a roller not for smooth surfaces. After lunch I started painting.
I got all the walls done and have to go around the doorways tomorrow.
I thought I had cream walls before I started painting. But not once I got started.
So painting took up my afternoon. Now I am sore and tired.

LOVE the layout, the pattern papers are perfect and I like how you layered everything :)
I've been painting today as well..furniture and a large mirror frame. Your hall looks great, I can relate to being sore. I've also been moving furniture back into my renovated lounge room. And you still have time to create an awesome layout!
Good for you. I wish my hubby would get that same hairbrain idea - we had a leak in our front hall, and now that it is repaired, it needs a touch-up. Maybe I need to pull out the paint cans and set them by his favorite chair.
