It's Almost December, oh my!!!!

And the panic begins for shipping out gifts, sending cards, baking goodies. But I think the shopping is pretty much done. And I think one more project just to decorate. Things are well under control. Curtis and I had Nicholas and Harlee today, and yes, I took photos.
And here they are. Harlee was in the Christmas spirit.

Movie Night

Curtis and I actually went to see a movie together-the new James Bond flick. Pretty good--lots of bang, bang, shoot em up as usual. Pretty quiet day around here--got some groceries, visited with Kirsten and the kids and finishing up some Christmas projects,

Black Friday

So, it's Black Friday and what do you do when one gets canceled from work. Shop, of coarse. Hit Michaels to get some frames, wrapping paper and few little other goodies.
Next, Bed, Bath and Beyond for a Christmas gift for someone special and around the corner to Herbergers. That was about it. Lots of people out shopping. And I sure didn't open the shops at 4am. I was up at 4:45 calling work.
Curtis hit the jackpot in Kalispell- getting us a new Christmas tree for $49. Looking forward to putting it up and decorating it in the near future.
Promised Curtis we would go to the James Bond movie tomorrow.
And Sunday we have the grandkids.
Yummy Thankgiving dinner at Kirsten's and Tim's last evening. Nice to have someone else cook the big dinner. She did a GREAT JOB. Thanks, Kirsten.

It's Been Awhile,

so I thought I better update the blog. Had a good, but quick trip to Salt Lake last week. The weather was unbelievably warm. I had packed clothes for much cooler weather, since it is Nov. Glad the weather was good for travel and that gas prices have gone WAY down. Filled the Pilot this morning from empty and it was only $35. I can remember not that long ago when it cost $40 with it half full. So that is a real plus. Worked my couple of days over the weekend and now off until Thanksgiving. The new fence is up in the backyard and looks real nice. Will post photos of the sunrise the day we left for SLC and a few others.

Cait, this one's for You!

Here are my little projects I am working on.

The clear block, the Joy is a vinyl rubon and then I will fill it with these glittery silver balls when the inside dries out.

The other bottle I got at Snyder drug yesterday when they had their Christmas open house. And I will fill it with the silver balls too.

Just a couple of cute inexpensive decorating ideas. Dad really likes the block.

Hey, Lauree

this one is for you. From earlier this year from Julie's wedding. Thought you might enjoy it. Love you!

Thursday Tidbits

Not much happening at the Barrow household. Just enjoying my days off. Windy, windy, windy the last couple of days. Too much to walk this morning.
A couple of new layouts.

Advent Calendar

that I finished up this morning. Made out of a cookie sheet from the Dollar Store. Yes, Cait, I actually ventured in the doorway. Would have posted this earlier, but having internet issues today. Lots of glitter in my scrap room after this project, which I vaccuumed up today. Also got the floors mopped and the bed linen changed. Looking forward to my 12 days off and my trip to SLC with Curtis next week.

Pretty Boring

and no new projects.
Worked my 12 hour shifts on Monday and Tuesday.
Had a road trip to Missoula yesterday with Curtis
Tried to catch up some today and had the grandkids this afternoon.
And tomorrow is another day with the grandkids.
Work again on the weekend.
But there is hope for next week, since I will be off for 12 days.

Latest Project

Been a quiet weekend around the Barrow household.
This is my latest project I have been working on.
Looking pretty good, so far.
It will be an advent calendar when finished.
