No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth

Just been a little busy the last couple of weeks. I have actually been working all my shifts and a little extra. Getting Cait ready to go back to Tacoma and just life in general. But, alas, all is well. We headed for the coast on Thursday, got Cait unpacked and somewhat settled on Friday and headed back to MT on Sat. Basically a turn around trip. I am getting too old for this, let me tell you. At least I am off from work for the rest of the week. Enjoy these long stretches off.
Cait is in a different dorm this year. Thankfully she is on the main floor and we didn't have stairs to climb. She has her own room in a suite with 5 other students.

I've Been Working Hard

on a few layouts. Recently finished. The album is what I am working on to give my sister with our cruise photos in it. Glad to see sunny skies this morning, after a raining evening. Kind of cool out with temps in the 40's. Say what---I thought it was still August.
Anyway, I hope you like them.

A scrapping I will go

On Wednesday, I headed down the road to Helena, with my good buddies, Cheryl, Jenn and Robyn. We went to the Pickle party they were having. The owner of Rusty Pickle, Lance Anderson, was there teaching 2 classes. It was lots of fun. The scrapbook store also had a chocolate fondue fountain going. Posting pictures of the 2 projects we did. We were the first class to do the Hot, Hot, Hot mini album.

Fish shopping

A couple of days ago, we took Harlee to buy a goldfish.
She has wanted one since Auntie Cait has one.
She loved having her own shopping cart and picked out the rocks to go in the fish bowl.
And the fish name is Nemo--so original.

Tinkling the Ivories

Caitlin has introduced the grandbabies to the piano. Nicholas can crawl up onto the piano bench. And Harlee has a meltdown if he is playing it, as it is her piano. Actually it is mine.
But it is cute to see them up there playing away.

New Layouts

A couple of layouts I finished recently. Woke up with an awful headache--I am sure it is due to the weather front moving through. Taking Harlee for a haircut this morning. And then riding with Robyn to the train depot in Shelby to drop our friend, Debbie off. I hope she has had an enjoyable week here.

Our Little Snowflake

Results from the fair.

My sister called today, wondering where I am since I haven't posted in a few days. So here is an update .
Went to pick up my cards and layout from the fair Sunday evening. Didn't have a clue how I had done, as I hadn't been to the fair, with being away and then having to work.
I was happily surpised--my layout won 3 blue ribbons and 4 red ribbons.
The cards I entered won 1 blue, 1 red, 2 white and 2 HM. Pretty good I would say, all in all.
Will post my cards. The layouts have all been seen previously on my blog, I am pretty sure.
