It's Monday

and I am off after working all weekend. I was busy at work and I think we had 13 babies.
And I also finished up my canning on the weekend--getting peaches and tomatoes in their jars. So that is done too. Looking at doing basically nothing today. Except will have Harlee and Nicholas for awhile.

It a great day out--sunny and supposed to be in the 80's all week.

I am on call for work this morning and there is a good chance I will get called in.
So, will putter around the house--put some laundry in.
But, not get involved into anything special.

A Little Canning in my Future

Got some peaches today, that need to ripen a little, some tomatoes and the applesauce is already done. Had the grandkids over so Kirsten could go to a friend's baby shower. Worked yesterday and may get to work again tomorrow. Will have to wait until the morning and call in. Enjoying that the weather is a little cooler. But that wind was sure chilly out walking early this morning. You could feel that nip of fall in the air. And the first week of Sept is already gone. Wow!!!

At Long Last

my fair winnings have arrived for the cards and layouts I had entered in the fair. Not sure what I will spend it on, but could spend the $$$ a hundred times over. Maybe I should sent to the poor student on the coast, who now has a job. Or spoil my grandbabies. We shall see.
Anyway it was fun to enter the fair. 'Til next year.

An Afternoon with the GrandBabies

I got to spend an afternoon with Harlee and Nicholas. Has been a while since I had them to myself. Nick actually fell asleep on my lap. He is toddling all around now. And Harlee is as cute as ever. Oh yes, and Harlee gave Nicholas a shiner. Curtis is back on the road traveling east to Glasgow, so I have the evening to myself. And it is a hot one out, so the AC is on keeping the house somewhat cool.
