Here is the latest sketch challenge on the Page Maps blog and my take on the sketch.

The picture is of nic skyping with Cait, who is in Vienna,Austria joining us while the kids dyed Easter Eggs. Nic was showing her all kinds of things. I am sure it is confusing for him, wondering where she is, but sees her on the computer screen.

Today I faced Walmart for a round of shopping and now I am pooped out . This sinus infection has really knocked the stuffing out of this bird.

Will have the grandkids this evening while Kirsten goes to her derby meeting. Tomorrow is Tim's graduation BBQ. Then we have Harlee and Nic over the weekend, while Kirsten and Tim head to Billing for a derby bout.

Here is the layout I completed for the 4/28 sketch challenge.

I was to go into work today to complete some mandatory classes. When I arrived there I was asked to change into scrubs and work, as the classes were being canceled. We needed to go to a delivery of 24wk quads--yes, you are reading this right. This is the second time since I have worked there we have needed to be there for quads. The last set were from Canada. So, I told my manager i really wasn't up to working since I have been sick. I was prepared to go to classes for the day, but not up to working. It requires one to be at the top of their game plan, and I am just not there yet. So much goop in my head, I can't believe it. And I stopped on my way home at Target to get more Kleenex and Chlorax wipes and few other goodies.

Guess What Came to my House????

Kirsten called the other day to say that Sams Club had Apple I Pad for a good price. I was sicker than a dog, but sent Curtis out to see what was up. And he came home with one for me. I have been wanting one for a while. So, now I am exploring and learning all about this new little techno gadget.
Thankfully, I am feeling better after getting on antibiotics yesterday.

More cards

Being sick over the weekend and still today, there is not much to do. So, a little card creating happened.
The sun is shining bold and bright this morning, with highs expected into the 60's. It's about time!!!!!

Quilt Show

Even though I am not feeling great, yesterday I took a few minutes to attend the quilt show here in Great Falls. It only happens every other year, so I really wanted to see what wonderful pieces of sewn art were there. I appreciate all the hard work and time that is put in these lovely creations. I have yet to tackle a huge quilt, not sure I ever will. I am more into wall hangings and table runners. Pieces that aren't quite so big. And I am not really into the old time pastel quilts. I love bold bright colours I did manage to take a few photos from yesterday
