October----Already????

Not really sure where September went and I am sure the rest of the year will follow quickly. I have been busy working and not really anything exciting to blog about. At work we are getting ready to move into a lovely new unit where all the babies have their own rooms. A little stressful for the nurses right now. But, I still have been creating. Here are a few cards I have made lately. Nice fall day out--sunny and around 60F out. Going out to clear old dead plants from the garden. Curtis is putting the hoses away for the winter. Supposed to be freezing temps and snow later this weekend. The mountains have snow on them from when it rained on Wed. Old Man Winter is lying in waiting I think. And just last week we were having record temps in the 90's.

Princess Harlee

has arrived in fine style. One day, not long ago, she got up from her nap and told her mother- "Princess Harlee is here" So, I saw this princess out fit and thought the princess should have it. If she wears a dress, she thinks she is a princess. What have we created?? Anyway, here she is in princess style.

Saturday's Farmers Market

Having a crappy day, but decided to meet Kirsten and the kids uptown at the Farmers Market. Saw Robyn and some of her family there too. Hot and windy out--having another weird month. Unnaturally warm for Sept--have had record highs, into the 90's this week. Worked too many hours this week--over 50hrs and ready for an extended period off. Getting very anxious about the move into the new NICU next month.
Had to get Harlee cotton candy at the market. Thanks to Auntie Cait earlier this summer, she knows right where to go. Makes her very happy. Nicholas was being a grump today.

100 Days 'Til Christmas

I read this somewhere today. Bah, humbug.
In the meantime I will enjoy the nice summer weather we are having and store it up for January when it it cold and snow
Was able to enjoy Harlee and Nicholas yesterday. Nick got going on the grass, didn't realize there is a hill, fell down and rolled around for a while. He has a bump on his head a fat lip, but not from this adventure. The days of a toddler.
Harlee rediscovered her magic princess mirror in nana's toy box and was quite enjoying it.
Off for another day today.
