September Almost Gone
Just a couple of days left this month. And it is supposed to be gorgeous this week, Warm and wonderful---like Indian summer. The leaves are changing and I should go and take some photos.
Worked my 12 hour shift on Sat. and then was canceled yesterday. Too many nurses and not enough babies. Hopefully there will be more when I go back in 12 days.
So, I got to scrap instead. I was dead beat tired after last week. So it was good to be off.
Also looked at an open house, that I have been watching all summer. Too much money though, It is an adorable house, but I like mine better.
Here are a couple of layouts from yesterday.

I have a mandatory staff meeting this afternoon
And the little munchins will be here.
Dad is feeling better, but still off work.
Didn't sleep worth as darn, as he was up and down most of the night.
Hope your day is super - duper.

For my daughter's benefit
Haven't had much exciting over the past couple of days, Cait.
Working on a couple of items to post. But give me a break.
I worked all day yesterday, had a headache today.
Dad has been suffering with a stomach flu or food poisoning.
And had the little ones tonight.
Hang in there will post a thing or two in the near future.
Just cause I did so much last week!!!

It's Just Right Around the Corner
and you are wondering what that might be???
Why, of coarse, it is Canadian Thanksgiving. So I have been working on a few cards.
Will be celebrating with a turkey, too, since I am off for a huge stretch then.
Called work and I guess we are busy again, so I will be working Sat. and then off on Sunday.
Ran some errands today. Got the laundry caught up. Ironed some shirts. Changed the bed. And had Kirsten and the kids for dinner.

Monday, Monday
Another week is upon us. Back to regular routine, such as it is, after having 2 weeks off.
It was a busy day in the Great Falls NICU today, at least I was busy. But at least, I got my 12 hour shift in today.
Had a great day yesterday enjoying my grandbabies. They stayed with Curtis and I as mom and dad were busy working. Harlee has learned to blow bubbles while we were gone. And Nicholas is a growing machine. Love them both.
Have class tomorrow and then maybe enjoy some days off.
Talked with Cait tonight. Miss you!! and love you!!

We made it Home!!!!!
We made it home from Pheonix, last evening after being gone for the last 12 days. CE was a total blast and I am already psyched for the next one. If I could be so lucky to go again. I don't know how it could every surpass this years event.
Curtis and I headed out Labour day morning and drove through rain and snow and stayed near Bryce Canyon, We were up early to take sunrise photos over the canyon. And then it was down the road to Pheonix. Robyn, Jenn and Cheryl were already there, as they started their travels the Friday before.
Wed. am we were on the bus tour by 8am to visit the Bazzill Paper factory and Scrapbooks, Etc.
Thursday, was another early day so Curtis, Robyn and I could be at the Botanical Gardens for the 7am opening. We wanted to beat the heat with temperatures well over 100F.
Thursday afternoon we registered for Creative Escape, did the treasure hunt and survived Technique Boutique.
Friday and Saturday we were totally engrossed in Creative escape classes. They had awesome teachers this year--Tim holtz, Heidi Swapp, Kolette Hall, Kelly Goree, Jenni Bowlin, Janet Hopkins and Laurie stamas. They all had amazing projects for us to do. Will post them later when they get finished up. Friday evening we also had technique boutique, where we made lots of cards. Thanks to Bazzill and Heidi swapp for a great weekend. Robyn won one of the grand prizes--a Revolution and 3 new dies.
Sunday morning, Curtis and Robyn and I headed down the road to Sedonna. Here we did laundry, discovered a vortex, visited a church built into the rock and had photo ops galore.
Ate some yummy food too.
Tues it was on to the Grand Canyon where we spent the day taking oodles of photos. We ended our day in Las vegas.
Wed. we spent the day in Vegas--shopping at camera shops and a scrapbook store. We ate at Margaritaville and were entertained by the Blue Man Group. The day ended taking phots of the dancing water at the Belagio.
Thursday we drove miles through the desert and ended up in Twin falls, ID for the night. Yesterday was a drive through the mountains of ID and MT to reach home. A long trip on the road and happy to be home.
