Summer Has Arrived

or so the calendar says. But you would never guess it from the weather, lately. It is coolish, rainy and just plain miserable. The rivers are so full, almost overflowing their banks. But summer has arrived. The family finally could be together to celebrate Caitlin's birthday from Sat. I tried out the big cupcake pan--It was a flop as far as I am concerned. But the kids had fun in the backyard. Harlee was digging in the dirt--finding herself worms. Nicholas and Tim had fun rolling down the hill in the backyard. It is just an adventure zone for Nicholas. And right now the grass is halfway up his legs. If it would stop raining and dry out it could get mowed.
