Just an Update

Has been a few days since I updated my blog. Cait will be getting after me.
Just not feeling great--have caught the crud everyone else in the family has had. Will have to build greater immunity to the grandkids bugs. For the most part, I have no voice. And am missing work, even though we do have a few babies now.
Been working on a prototype for my Mother's Day cards. So now I have my Easter cards and mother's days cards finished. I have a lot going on between now and then, so need to stay on top of everything.
Curtis got back home from the Flathead, late Wed. and he had the crud while he was on the road.
The weather has been bizarre this week with extreme cold earlier and now the weather bug is reading 60F. Unbelievable!

Spring Ahead???

According to the clocks we have sprung ahead, but the weather seems to be lagging behind. It is brutally cold out and snowing again. I feel for my friend, Robyn, still trying to calve in this weather. Those poor little things in all this cold. This is January temperatures, not March.
It has been a few days since I have blogged. Not much going on. Everyone at Kirsten's has been sick. The kids were with me yesterday, so Tim could do some recuperating. I just hope I don't get it. Wash the hands.
Curtis is up in the Flathead for work. And I got canceled, again, from the hospital. I hope our census gets up there one of these days. Not that I want to work extra, just get my scheduled shifts in.
Looking forward to heading out to Seattle next week to visit with Cait during her spring break.
In the meantime, working on my Easter Cards.

It's My Day

Yes, it is my birthday on this cold March day. Snow on the ground after last night. But the sun is shining brightly.
Found this big pink lighted flamingo in my kitchen this morning and it will be going outside come warmer weather. I don't usually like this kind of stuff, but this flamingo has won a place in my heart.
Doing well after my wisdom teeth coming out on Wed. Was going to post pictures of my extracted teeth, but thought it might gross a person or two out. Watched Australia, which is an excellent movie despite the bad reviews. I highly recommend it and I think Curtis would too. He actually watched it with me.
Kirsten and the kiddos will be over to help celebrate my birthday and I have had a birthday call from Cait.

Extra Day Off

I was canceled from work again today. Seems like it is happening at least once a pay period. This is not good having 12 hours of pay gone from the bank. But not much I can do about this. Would rather be working extra.

Had a short visit from Kirsten and the kids earlier. The weather is spectacular out for March with the temperature in the 60's. For us in Montana March came in like a lamb. I know the east coast is buried in snow. Went walking this morning and the birds were chirping--great to hear.

A couple more Disney layouts--almost done now.

Off to work tomorrow and having my wisdom teeth out on Wed.
So, I will be missing for a couple of days.
