Old Faithful
We had to go out and sit at Old Faithful about 30min before it decided to erupt. Of coarse, a 4 year old doesn't have much patience regarding this waiting. Although, while sitting we saw a dragonfly, chipmunk and a bluebird. But was Harlee ever excited when it started to spurt. She thought it was cool. But then she thought it would just turn off again and we could go and get ice cream.
A Few Wildflowers along the way
Wednesday July 27
Have a bit of catching up to do on the blog here. I have some great flower shots, critter shots, geyser shots, waterfall shots. The weather was fantastic and the colour in the photos is just awesome. I'll try to make multiple post so they won't be so long with photos. Only 465 photos of mine to sort through. Without further ado.
We arrived around dinner time on Wed. and unloaded the car.
Harlee was excited to see the cabin and be able to sleep in a bunk bed-especially on the top.
Caitlin started a fire to toast the garlic bread and Curtis manned the stove.
Yummy spaghetti dinner!!!

Good Morning from
West Yellowstone.
It's a beautiful chilly morning coming from the first National Park in the country.
Hlad a yummy dinner last night cooked by Curtis and Caitlin. Cait made a fire.
Harlee said she really missed her mum.
Hopefully some pictures to follow

Get Your Glitz On-Challenge #4
You needed to use background stamps.
I don't have many Glitz Design stamps-but did have a couple in my stash. The stamp in the right corner is from them and I inked with Distress ink in brown Coudoroy and embossed with clear embossing powder.
Product used- Paper from Glitz Design- Vintage Love
I believe the dark blue paper is from MME,
Bazzill cardstock and a small bit from Fancy Pants design.
Glitz WhatNots-vintage
Gltiz mini letters
Sizzix Tim Holtz big clock die, Heart cut on Cricut and embossed
Rubber stamps from Glitz, A Stamp in the Hand Co, Penny Black, and Cats Life Press
Prima Marketing--flowers that were inked with distress ink
MME brads and key
Bling
This is my favourite kind of layout to do--vintagy and grunged up.
Not that I don't do lot of either kinds of layouts
Onto my day--didn't get much accomplished.
Spent over 2hours at the cardiologists today
And see the heart conduction specialist.
I will be going for a electrophysiology study and probably an ablation in a couple of weeks. Have to travel to Missoula since it isn't done here in Great Falls.
Hopefully it will help my heart issues I have been trouble with for about 20 years now.
Had a wonderful lunch with a couple of good friends and visited for quite a while.
Cait and I went for groceries for our up coming camping trip to West Yellowstone.

You needed to have a Summer Topic
You needed to use the colours Red, Orange, and/or Yellow- I used all 3
And there needed to be a journal spot.
So, onto Saturday--has been pretty quiet around here.
Cait went camping with her friends last night, after she got home from Missoula.
Curtis and I went to the Farmer's Market this morning.
Got the grass mowed and trimmed and now is being watered.
Have done laundry-folded and put away too.
Back to work tomorrow for a day.

Happy Birthday, Tim!
Today is Kirsten's husband, Tim's birthday. They are planning to go out for the evening, so I will go over and watch the little ones for them. Hope you have a great birthday, Tim.
Don't have too many photos of him, but did manage to find one to post.
It's Friday again--I don't know where the time flies.
Need to run a few errands today.

MME challenge#25
This my entry for MME#25 layout challenge
Here is the sketch and the theme is Celebration.
You must use 80% MME product.
You can see other great entries here
Caitlin and I spent the day together, which we haven't done in a long time.
We ran some errands and then went shopping for a bit.
I managed to find a new bathing suit, which was badly needed. And it was on sale.
Also got a few other goodies.
But Cait got the bargain of the day. Just before she came home from Austria, she managed to lose her wallet, and that is the main reason we went shopping--to look for a new wallet. And she got a new $27 wallet for $0.99. Now that was the deal of the day!!!!
Spending the evening alone--Curtis is in Missoula, and Cait has gone to derby practice with Kirsten.
