The Lighthouses of Bar Harbor,Maine

Our next port of call was Bar Harbor. There is no docking facility here for these cruise ships. Therefore we had to tender in.
Lauree and I decided to take a tour of the historic light houses from the water and then do Acadia National Park in the afternoon.

We boarded a little tour boat and headed out. The coastline is very rocky, but has some beautiful summer homes built along the shores. This area is well known for the lobster fishing and you could definitely see the lobster trap markers as we cruised along.
