Happy Birthday, Curtis!

Today we celebrate Curtis' birthday! But not the way we wanted to.

He has been very sick and in the hospital since 2pm yesterday! I got a call at work yesterday to come and get him.

We were in the ER until about 2am this morning when he finally got admitted to a floor!

He has a cold since last Thursday, before we left Hawaii! He took me to work and I guess things fell apart! Just can't leave this guy alone to fend for himself.


He had a temp near 103! He had an upset tummy! He was SO dehydrated because he hadn't had fluids most of the day! And with all those issues it put his heart rate up and it was slow to come down so he got to spend the night and most of the day! They ran lots of test to rule things out. But we get to go home in the next 30 min!




What a way to spend a birthday!!!!

Home, Sweet, Home!

We arrived home last evening! We flew to Seattle on Friday afternoon and arrived late! Spent Saturday shopping in Seattle.

It was good to sleep on my own bed snd I slept hard! Best nights sleep in quite a while! It was close to 8:30 when I got up.

But how I am missing HawIi and my baby.

I am missing this girl!









I am missing the ocean and listening to it at night as I fall asleep.








I am missing the beautiful flowers

























I am missing the green of the tropics

















I am missing the amazing sunsets

























I love watching the whales play in their big ocean









I love those yummy tropical drinks!









Let's just admit it! I love Hawaii! But it was fantastic to hug and squeeze those little grandkids of mine today!

Sunday Special

We have been out to watch the humpback whales with
It was dark when we left our resort and the boat left at 6:30 from Lahaina. Even though it is getting to be the end of whale season, we did see a few including a cow and her calf.

It rained and it poured! We drove south to Wailea and the sun came out.

Island Exploring!
