Happy Mother's Day

Hope all the mothers out there have had a wonderful day and been spoiled like they deserve.  Being a mum and raising children in this day and age is the hardest job in the world!!!  Never mind holding a job outside the household as well! I don't think any of us are ever prepared for the devotion, hard work, and frustration that comes with the job.  But it also is the most rewarding as you see your little ones grow into successful adults.

These two girl threw me into the roll of mother.  It wasn't always easy, but I enjoyed it .  A few lumps and bumps along the way, because it is a trial and error job, as you go.  What works for one, doesn't always work for the other.    And now they make their own paths!  They both have a great work ethic and try hard and don't give up.  Kirsten is trying to raise her 3 little rugrats along the straight and narrow.  Nic has been more than a challenge!   I am so proud of the women they have become and look forward to what the future holds for them.

It's been a quiet day here after the two boys running around yesterday.  I played in my scrap room!
Curtis cooked dinner.

Background paper was from Echo Park- My Boy and Bazzill  cardstock
The saying is from an Adornit sheet
The arrows and star are from Heidi Swapp and sprayed with Color Shine
A pice of Washi
And some texture paste and a Heidi Swapp stencil for the stars
And a few gold mini stars
