Welcome May!!

Here we are welcoming a new month.  And the day is beautiful and sunny!  A welcome sught after the last week of rain and dull grey cloudy skies.

Yesterday we had a Barrow wedding to attend.  We headed south a couple of hours on the Interstate to Boulder, Montana.

Curtis' brother has 4 boys and a girl.  And it was the youngest of the boys, Michael who got married.  He is the same age as Kirsten and celebrates the same birth day as Caitlin.

A big hug for his mama.

Waiting for his bride.  It was a pretty cold, grey day for an outdoor wedding.

We waited patiently too!

The flower girls.  Granddaughter of Curtis's brother.

These two had a good time together.  They are a year apart in age.  And are second cousins.

Mama of the groom.

Time to cut the cake.
What a mess!

The oldest brother and he plans to get married next year in Hawaii.

And so we spent a wonderful afternoon and evening with family.

Later today soccer is on our agenda.  And later tomorrow we will drive back to the train station for Curtis' dads return to the Flathead Valley.

I love weddings.
Sometimes those are the only time we get to see distant relatives.
Beautiful bride and handsome groom…wishing them many happy years together.
