What an Evening!

Have just enjoyed 2 hours of Stevie Wonder Music on the TV. Almost as good as being there in person. This is the music I grew up with! I lived 2 hours across the border from the Motor City!! How could one not get absorbed in the music of Motown!!!

My day started out early. I was only on call for work, but did manage to go in for a couple of hours to cover for a staff meeting. Tomorrow I get to go to the meeting. Came home and got caught up on my ironing. My pile is much less these days since I am not having to do at least 5 dress shirts a week for my hubby. That is a nice break.

After lunch I spent a little time with Kirsten and the grandkids. We visited Barnes and Noble and the pet store. Cooper was in awe of the critters and all the fish swimming around. Nic thinks he wants a fish!

And spent a little time creating. Good day to be inside. After all abnormally warmer weather , today was cold and snowy. More like mid February.

A little layout of Nic and his first ride on Papa's big motorcycle.  He put armrests on last summer for when he take the grandkids out.  He never knows if Harlee is still back there when he is out with him, as she is such a light weight.

What amazing memories you and your hubby are creating, Leslee! You with your outstanding layout celebrating the occasion, and Grandpa by sharing rides on his big motorcycle! How awesome that he put arms rests back there to help hold them in where they belong!! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell

You've really created great movement on that layout - nicely done. I'm afraid that after two days of laundry, today is my day to catch up the ironing. Just in time to pack tomorrow for a quick weekend trip!
