Giving of Yourself!

Tis the season to give to back to others and to be thankful for all that we have!

Yesterday was my day to give back and it involved something I love to do!  Sew!!!!! Which makes it twice as nice!  A friend if mine put out an invite for any one that would like to sew quilts for Peace Hospice!  It was like- pick me, pick me.  I packed up my sewing gear willingly and headed out.  There were about nine ladies there.  My friend and I pieced the top of a quilt together.   It was a great way to spend the day.

This morning Curtis went out to go down to the river to take some photos. He didn't get very far as the car wouldn't go!!!  What a great thing for a Sunday morning when everything us closed.  But, he put the charger on the battery.  A little while later I czme upstairs and noticed a light was on in the car!  Neither the hubby ir I remember switching a light in the far back on!  Anyway that was the cause of our issues!

He ran md out to the grocery store as I didn't want to get stranded out there.

Been a pokey afternoon at home.

But I did make a beautiful card with some new Tim Holtz dies.

The birch trees created a beautiful background for the glittery tree.

The deer, bunny and birds are all Impression Obsession dies.
