Kirsten was here early and we swapped out kids. Kirsten and Harlee headed to the parade uptown. Curtis and I minded Cooper. We headed in a different direction and headed for a walk at the River's Edge Trail.
When we got home, Curtis started up the grill and we had hotdogs. The grandkids had a dip in the pool. They both took naps. And we generally had a quiet afternoon. Pizza for dinner. Curtis had taken Harlee out to get a few fireworks and she wanted to let them off! Cooper was not impressed and I brought him inside where he could watch from the window. It is a very noisy evening in our neighbourhood!!!

What sweet photos!! It was very noisy in my neighborhood, too...and it lasted for hours after dark. I live outside of the city so people around here think they need to set off fireworks I guess because all of the neighbors did ;) Have a great weekend :)
