The last couple of days have been scorchers. A little too warm for me. We need to build up gradually, but , oh no- days close to 90F. The AC has been on.
Curtis has been doing runs for Avis- To Calgary on Monday and to East Glacier today.
Yesterday, I had him up to the airport for 6:30am and came home and got all my work done before 10am. That meant changing the bed, washing the sheets, vacuuming through and mopping floors. Wanted to get my work done before it got too hot.
Today, not much of anything. Another trip up to the airport, but not until 7:30 today.
Watched Cooper, as Kirsten had a Dr. appt with Nic. Fertilized and watered all the gardens.
And then after lunch, went to Nic's school.
He had asked my at least twice, if I could go. Wouldn't you know, it was the only day I was scheduled to work!!! I knew it was important to him, when he kept asking, so I managed to get the day switched. They served everyone lunch of chicken, beans, a roll, and corn on the cob. I thought it would just be some finger food. And ice cream sundaes for dessert. They had an awards ceremony. Nic got awards in Science and Computer excellence(no surprise there). And then they had a little slide show of the kids. He has come a long way this year. And so thankful for his special classroom and the teachers in it.
Today was all about NIC!
