Dec. 6th

Having a pretty quiet weekend around here.  Much needed after being sick most of the week.

Watched Harlee and Cooper last evening.  Their mum and dad had 2 work Christmas parties to attend.  Why is everything scheduled for the same day???  Nic went with his other grandparents to a Christmas party for their car club.  Cooper ran around until about 8pm last night and then crashed after I layed with him for about 5min.  We had all watched the  movie "Home" earlier, which they had received in their advent calendar the other day.

I have to include a funny conversation I had with Harlee the other day.  They must be studying different Christmas customs and talking about Jewish customs.  She comes out from school and says "I could never be Jewish, Nana."  I say, why???  She answers, "because they don't eat bacon!!!  I could have just about rolled over.  This girl loves her bacon and ham and pork in general.  And I have to write these little stories down, because some day I want to remember.  Friday, I took her to her basketball game, while Curtis went on a Red Cross blood run.  Oh, yes!  A few weeks ago Harlee and I also had another conversation about where the blood comes from.  That one grossed her out just a little.

Working on getting Christmas cards addressed.
Probably getting cancelled from work tomorrow because the unit is so slow.
And that is OK at this time of the year.

I made a couple of birthday cards this morning for people that have their celebration this next week and I need to get them in the mail.
Day 5 of my Dec. Daily is about trimming the tree.  White spaces for photos I need to get printed.
Day 6 is complete as it is about sending cards , which I included on my layout.
