In the Scrapping Mood

I actually scrapbooked a couple of layouts over the weekend. And the afternoon I worked on Cooper's album- project life style.
I watched Cooper the last 2 mornings for Kirsten, so she could go back to work for a bit. And I played chauffeur and took Harlee to soccer practice this afternoon.
Thankfully not so hot today with temps in the 60's.

This first layout is Harlee's preschool photo. Trying to mix the old with the new. Old papers with Washi tape and some wood veneers that I sprayed with Heidi Swapp's Color Shine. Most of the papers are from an old October Afternoon line(Hometown)

The second layout is again about Harlee at just being 6. I continued using the same paper line. I started my layout and thought the yellow floral was 12X12, but I had cut a little strip off one end. So, instead of giving up and starting over, I just added a piece to the back. I used a couple of Quickutz dies. I used an Ali Edwards stamp, a flair button and some bling. The title is American Craft Thickers as is the 6. The little strip across the bottom is MME.

Your layouts are beautiful.
I miss scrapbooking, but still don't seem to get to it.
Take it easy now. Remember you are still recovering my friend.
