Canadian Thanksgiving!

Last evening we celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving!  Just a few days ate, but it worked better for us all.  The kids are off school.  Tim was off for the evening.  And the chief cook and bottle washer wasn't scheduled to work!   Thanks to my sidekick, Kirsten for all her help.  All was pretty yummy!!!  And I made some sweet potatoes from scratch that were awfully tasty.  Will be making them from scratch from now on.  No more canned one for us.  Off to work this morning for some computer classes and hope to take the grandkids to the corn maze for some fun.  Only if the weather is better than the last two days.  I that's been gloomy, rainy and damp.  Got my flu shot the other day.

sweet potatoes are the best! we always boil them, then slice in a casserole dish with butter and brown sugar baked in the oven. they are awesome. sadly my turkey is still in the freezer!
