I did find time to do some creating over the weekend. Mother's Day cards were on the burner. Needed to get them done since a couple go out of the country to Canada. I also wanted to get them done before I have surgery this week.
Also made a couple of cards to send friends.
Used a newer stamp and die.
Today, I was canceled from work. Kirsten needed to go into work for a bit, so I she had Cooper stay with me. And then I picked up Harlee after school and she stayed with me until her daddy got through with work at 5pm. Did a few things in between and my day was shot!!! We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Happy Birthday to my Sweetie!
Today is Curtis' birthday. He is still a youngster! We will celebrate at dinner-Kirsten and the kids will be here!!
It is windy, windy, windy out.
Have been a busy bee today. Went with Kirsten and Cooper to get his newborn photos done by Amy Coe at Inspire Portraits. He was pretty co-operative until the end when he decided it was time to pee and poop and just be awake.
I came home and mopped the floors and vacuumed through.
Then headed out to mow the grass. Yes, I mowed the grass in April in MT.
One more stop for the day- to the hospital to preadmit for Thursday.
Have meat marinating for dinner. Have the birthday cake baked and iced!

One Cutie Pie
Pictures are of H. before we went to the theater the other evening to see Beauty and the Beast. She looks so sassy and grown up. Thanks to Auntie Knick Knack for the fashionable dress from Zulily. It cost her a whole dollar! Never mind the accessories-the polka dot tight and red cowgirl boots!!!
This afternoon Kirsten and I took Cooper for his circumcision. Used to be done at the hospital before the babies left, but not any more. It is a procedure in the pediatrician's office. I believe he survived, not sure his mama did!!!
But he spent the afternoon at nanas while she got a few groceries and picked up N. They all were here for dinner.

One Week Old, Already!!!
Cooper's first week has flown by and he seems to be settling in! He is eating well and starting to have longer periods of sleeping. Kirsten brought him by this afternoon and I took some photos while he was awake.
A little tummy time!
Harlee and I had a great evening at Beauty and The Beast, on stage. It is not too often we get this caliber of entertainment in Great Falls. So, one takes advantage when they come. It was a late night for both of us! But so worth it!

Just a Little Field Trip
Yesterday, I went on a field trip with Mr. Nic to the library. I had started my day with a 7am staff meeting and beat it across town so I could ride the bus with Nic. He was so happy to see his nana. He was having a melt down on the floor and it was over as soon as he saw me. He was a perfect little citizen--riding the bus, listening to the story and then looking through some books so he could put them in the book monster. I am sure he was happy to have his nana go with and wanted me to stay longer.
Today, I have been busy too. I was out walking early, cleaned bathrooms and then headed over to Kirsten's to help her. We got the kids bedrooms picked up, folded some laundry, emptied the kids suitcases and got the baby settled back down. I picked Harlee up after school and took her home. Later she and I are going to see Beauty and the Beast on stage.

Babies, Babies EveryWhere!
Just an updated picture of Cooper(Day 3) when he was here spending the afternoon on Sunday
I felt like sleeping too, because this is what it was doing outside.
And then last evening Curtis and I took a drive along the river and look what we found
Today, has been pretty busy for me. I am pooped and headed to bed. I was up early for a staff meeting at 7am. And then I headed up to the preschool for a field trip to the library with Nic. And he behaved like a model citizen. I stopped at Kirsten's on the way home, briefly. She had a rough night with Cooper awake a lot. She came to our house after lunch and had a nice shower, we picked up H after school. I filled the rig up with gas--seems like I been doing a lot of chauffering this last week!!!! Was home briefly and then headed back to Kirsten's as Harlee had soccer practice. When that was finished, she got home and the baby was fussing again. I used my magic and got him to sleep and back to bed. Helped get Nic in his PJ's and Harlee in the shower. All was quiet when I left to come home. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little less hectic. I am glad I took this time off from work so I can give Kirsten a hand with things.

A New Week
We have started a new week. I am sure it won't be as exciting as least week turned out to be!!!
My day started early as Nic wanted his nana to taxi him to preschool today. And tomorrow I get to do a field trip with him to the library. His teacher called this morning to make sure I could ride the bus with him. Came home to iron shirts for Curtis and had Kirsten, Tim and Cooper drop in on me. He had his first check up at the doctor and all is well. And then I had a Dr. appt. to prepare for my surgery next week.
I came home and got dinner organized to put in the oven in a bit. We are having Mexican shells. Got the recipe from my friends on Facebook. Will let you know how they turn out.
And then a couple of photos of H & N with their new baby brother.
Does this mama look like she just had a baby? No, way. She looks awesome!!!!

Picture of the Week #16
And it isn't even of the new baby.
Harlee stayed again with us last night. She doesn't like it when baby Cooper cries. And she wasn't any too eager to head home today. She is so good and I don't mind her being here at all. She played with Polly Pockets. She ran to Ace with me. She did some arts and crafts-stamped. And then she got into the die cuts and found my mustache dies. She had to cut one out and we glue dotted it on and had to take a picture for Auntie Knick-Knack!!!!

Cooper's Birth Day!
My day started awfully early yesterday when the phone rang at 1AM. It was Kirsten and her water had broke. She had sent out the eviction notice earlier in the evening! Tim had barely got in from working his evening job. So, I headed over to her house to watch Hand N. I couldn't get back to sleep and finally dozed from 4-5:45. The kids were surprised to see Nana there when they woke up. Got them all organized and out the door to get H to school by 8:10 and Then Nic to preschool. I picked up Tim some breakfast and headed up to the hospital. She had her epidural in and they had Pitocin up to help her contractions. And by 12:18 Cooper had made an appearance. He weighed in at 9lb.- 4oz and 22in long. One big boy!!!!

A Surprise this Morning!
Woke up to 4-5in. of snow that I had no idea we were expected to get. I hear the roads were awful out this morning. But by the time I was out moving on them, the roads were bare and wet. Although I did have to brush the car off. I headed into work for a couple of hours to cover for a meeting. Still not very busy in the NICU, so I don't feel guilty being off. Kirsten came over after lunch to kill some time. I think she is bored to death waiting for Cooper to decide to grace us with his presence. We walked around Michaels, Old Navy and Pier1. Saw some nice things, but the stores didn't get our $$$ today. Worked a little more on the travel albums.

Sassy Little NutHatch
This little nuthatch was watching me the other day, when I was out in the back yard taking my spring pictures.
Not much spring here today. Snow showers with only a high of 29F. Supposed to be in the 50's. But, thankfully it has not accumulated on the roads here in town.
Did some creating this morning. As I work away on my travel albums. Coming along, but tedious when you are working on 2 at the same time. Kristen dropped in for a while this afternoon and took a little nap. Ran a couple of errands this afternoon. And made yummy stir fry for me for dinner.
Hope to get to bed earlier tonight. Couldn't get to sleep last night. Often happens when Curtis is out of town. Takes a bit getting used to him being gone and poof he is back again.

We Welcome Spring!
Although there it snowed all day yesterday and there is a dusting of snow on the ground this morning. And it is only 21F out this morning. Snow showers expected throughout the day, it says on the weather.
But spring is trying slowly to emerge and take over. And I can hardly wait.
Yesterday was a a quiet day at home. H's soccer was cancelled. But, I did go with her and her mum to have her team photos done. And then I came home and sewed on Coopers baby quilt. Pictures will be on another day. Also did laundry, since Curtis is on the road to Kalispell today for the week and I thought he might like clean clothes.

Picture of the Week #15
Posting a little picture of spring today. For tomorrow it is predicted to be covered in SNOW!
This was taken in the backyard and I have a few more to post next week.
Yesterday, I headed down to Helena with Curtis since he had to talk to some people there and we took a friend along too. A little shopping time at Ben Franklin's and Costco and lunch at Perkins.
This morning we put our Select Comfort mattress together. That was quite the job getting everything in its place. Then, this afternoon we took the grandkids to the movies to give their mum a little break. Meet the Cruds was a pretty good flick!!!!

A Little Sewing Time.
I hope you remember this picture from back at the end of Feb. The material I had chosen to sew a quilt for Cooper.
And I haven't done much with it since then, until today. I got down in my laundry room and sewed away. As per usual, I sewed a few together wrong, but have corrected that issue.
This evening I was on soccer practice duty since Kirsten had to work and Tim was minding Nic. A little too cool for me to sit outside, so I watched from the car.

Just a little Tune Up.
I am scheduled to have some surgery at the beginning of May. In order for this to happen I have to have the blessings from my cardiologist. So, yesterday I had a visit with her and today I had a cardiac echo and a chest XRay. Also went and got a DTAP booster. It has been way too long since I got one of these. When I am at work I never make the time to go down to Employee Health and get one.
Today, Kirsten also had her appt. and baby is still too high for her to be induced. Next week, she is actually due. But her dr. has given her a note to be off work since she has a on the border high BP. Now if you could only take away 2 kids, a hubby and a dog, she might relax.
I picked up Harlee from school, did some ironing of Curtis's shirts, took a walk and had Kirsten visit a couple of times. Going to put my feet up now!
